The Archer County Commissioner’s Court approved an amendment to the county’s right of way ordinance culver section in its meeting Monday, Dec. 12, to allow for commissioners to consider uphill and downhill culverts when approving the installation of a new culvert.

The Sheriff’s Office received 98 calls for service this week. As this report is being written there are 17 inmates and 4 being female in the Archer County Jail.

With his final son playing his last football game on Friday, Holliday Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Frank Johnson has decided to call it a career. Johnson informed the district of his intention to retire effective Jan. 31, 2023.
