Unbelieveable Joy

Body
Joy sometimes finds us in those times we least believe it possible, even Unbelievable Joy can find us there. In Luke 1:1-10 scripture, we have Zechariah, the Priest of Abijah Temple, who is married to Elizabeth, a descendant of Aaron. Talk about role models! These two were God-fearing, righteous, and lived strictly by the Jewish law. Their Practices were all in honor of God. Zechariah and Elizabeth were getting along in years. Now, for a little context in Zechariah’s time, there were thousands of priests. From birth, every descendant of Aaron was acknowledged as a priest. Zechariah was part of the Abijah division of priests. There were so many priests that they took shifts. About twice a year, they would have a one-week shift.
