The Archer City ISD school board approved an amendment to the student code of conduct concerning drug contraband during its meeting on Monday, Jan. 30.

2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” Our text today is one in which God addresses the wisest man in history, Solomon. It is a response to a prayer for the nation of Israel and its future. But I would be remiss if I did not earnestly share that it is also an answer to many of our prayers for America today.

The City of Archer City has contracted with Canary Construction to replace certain water mains in Archer City, beginning January 30, 2023. This project is being funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), which provides opportunities for governments to make strategic investments in infrastructure.

The Holliday ISD School Board announced Alice AD and Head Football Coach Kyle Atwood as the school’s next director of athletics. Atwood replaces the retired Frank Johnson as the next leader of the Eagles’ athletics program.
