Body The Scotland-Windthorst VFW 2676/Auxiliary held its award ceremony honoring its Citizenship Education Teacher of the Year, Patriot’s Pen Essay competition winners and Voice of Democracy Audio/Essay competition winners on Monday, Dec. 14.

Body Holliday Elementary School took first place in its Academic UIL District Meet, competing against City View and Nocona. The Eagles won with 887 points, over 500 points better than runner-up City View (371 points) and 600 points better than Nocona (223 points).
