Brianna and Colby Vieth of Scotland, members of Windthorst FFA, and Brantley and Daniel Brenlen Humpert of Windthorst, members of Midway FFA, caught a calf during the 2024 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo’s Calf Scramble, earning a $500 purchase certificate for a show heifer and the chance for up to $16,000 in scholarship awards.

Archer City's skid continues

The Archer City Lady Cats made their way to Seymour to face off against the Lady Panthers on Friday, Feb. 2. The 1-7 Lady Cats, although out of the playoff hunt, could still play spoiler for the 5-3 Lady Panthers, who were vying for the second- place spot in district.
