The Archer County Commissioner’s Court approved purchasing a new lawnmower for the inmate work crew during its meeting on Monday, March 11. Sheriff Jack Curd made the request for a new lawnmower to the court.

CoeAnna Lynn Hitchcock assed away peacefully in her sleep under the care of Hoffmann Hospice House in Bakersfield, CA, on Jan. 28, 2024. She was 84 and had been suffering from Dementia for several years. She was small in stature but definitely feisty, and has been described as caring, witty, ornery, and a loving mother. She loved working outside in her yard and flower gardens, animals, Hot Toddies, and always listening to old time country music.
