A Person of Great Faith

Body
We all have people that we admire. Some of us have a family member or someone in our community that we wish we were like. For Christians, it is helpful for us to look at other Christians who have great faith and desire to have great faith as well. In Matthew 15:21-28, there is a story about Jesus’s encounter with a Canaanite woman who came to Jesus for him to heal her daughter. Her daughter was tortured by a demon, and she knew that the only person who could help would be Jesus. In this story, we learn a couple of things about great faith that are helpful to us as we seek to be people of great faith.

Come by the library if you'd like help setting up or using Boundless or Libby; we're always happy to help! ************** Three decades have passed since seventeen- year-old Tulip McDowell was last seen leaving Sikes Senter Mall in Wichita Falls, Texas, in the fall of 1990. On the thirtieth anniversary of her disappearance, homicide detective Horace Brown pulls the cold case file from a dusty storage room shelf at police headquarters. With dogged determination, he and his partner, Detective Randy Miller, pursue the case intent on finally finding the person responsible and bringing him to justice. Unknown to them, the detectives are not alone in their quest; someone else has joined the search. Someone with a different type of justice in mind.
