Body Football fans from around the county were witness to one of the best years all around for the three high schools.

Body Both the Holliday Eagles and Lady Eagles battled the Vernon Lions and Lady Lions in a home district basketball action on Friday, Dec. 20.

Body It was a suffocating defensive showing put on by the Holliday Eagles in their Tuesday, Dec. 17 matchup against the Nocona Indians. After a 6-0 start by Nocona in the beginning of the first, the Eagles took back the lead and never trailed again, securing the 54-29 win.

Body The Windthorst Trojans travelled to Poolville to compete in the Mesquite Pit Classic from Thursday, Dec. 12 to Saturday, Dec. 14. The Trojans charged through their competition and finished the tournament with a 4-1 record.
