The Archer City Lady Cats’ volleyball team is in the midst of changing the narrative. While the Lady Cats have enjoyed consistent postseason appearances in recent years, including an area round playoff berth in 2025, the talented group knows there is still work to be done.

Diaz, Lady Cats Fueled by Grit, Passion

It’s Tuesday, Aug. 18 and the Archer City Lady Cats are playing an away game at Wichita Christian School. The visitor’s bleacher section is filled with an array of black and gold apparel as family members and peers look on, getting a glimpse at the early stages of yet another volleyball season.

Archer County Volleyball Roundup

Through two sets on Tuesday, Aug. 18, the Lady Cats were down 2-0 with their backs against the wall in a contest against Wichita Christian School. The team battled hard in those sets but ultimately couldn’t find a way to seal the deal.
