The Holliday City Council swore in a new mayor and a new council place 2 member during its meeting on Monday, May 13. The change in mayor comes after former mayor Allen Moore decided not to run for re-election after holding the position for over 20 years.

The Sheriff’s Office received 227 calls for service this week. As this report is being written there are 23 inmates 9 being female in the Archer County Jail.

Frances White Ross, age 88, of Wichita Falls, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024, in Hospice of Wichita Falls. Graveside services were held at 10:30 a.m.
