The Sheriff ’s Office received 151 calls for service this past week. As this report is being written there are 18 inmates and four being female in the Archer County Jail.

But for one moment in 1914, there came a Christmas miracle. The soldiers in the trenches stopped fighting, and for a moment, there was peace on the battlefield.
