The Texasville Opry hits the stage of the Royal Theater this Saturday night, Nov. 18, with “The Country Christmas-Gospel- Patriotic s Show,” which closes out its 23rd year of Opry performances/ “Folks love the Christmas, Gospel, Patriotic show because we've got another sellout,” said Gary Beesinger, producer and emcee.

An Archer County jury found a man guilty of the murder of Gary Kuykendall on of the May 26, 2022. Stephen Joseph Parsons, 35, was found guilty of murder by a jury of six men and six women on Wednesday, Nov.
Archer Public Library reopens

The Archer Public Library is now open after two months of renovations. The renovation was possible due to the support of The Tocker Foundation, The Priddy Foundation, The Royal C. Bingo Kinder Fund Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation, Affordable Texas Movers and library volunteers.
