Track season is off to a hot-start for Holliday and Windthorst. The Lady Eagles have won multiple meets already this season and appear to be a regional front-runner once again. The Trojanettes return everyone from last year’s team that won the district championship.

Thursday, March 17 Archer City 10, Seymour 0 Chris Allen belted a three-run homer in the bottom of the first and Archer City (3-5, 1-0) never looked back in a 10-0 shutout of Seymour to begin district play. The Wildcats went on to hammer out six runs in the fourth before a walk-off error allowed the ‘Cats to open league play out on the right foot.
