Former Archer County Pastor arrested for child grooming

A former Holliday pastor was arrested by the Texas Department of Public Safety for alleged child grooming. According to DPS Sergeant Juan Gutierrez, Texas Rangers served a warrant and arrested 31-year-old Nathan Patrick Roach Friday, May 30, for child grooming, a third-degree felony.

AC Council, Commissioners talk ambulance service

The Archer City Council received the Consumer Price Index increase for its contract for Emergency Medical Services with American Medical Response during its council meeting on Thursday, May 22. City Manager Ronnie Meyer said he spoke with AMR’s Pete Wolf and was told the CPI increase would be 2.74%, or $13,700, over the contract price of $500,000.

Many Archer County residents took time on Monday, May 26, to honor those who were killed in action as part of multiple Memorial Day services that took place across the county.
