He challenged him how to live his life as a Leader in the midst of a lot of “False Teaching” that was happening Paul makes a statement in 2 Timothy 1:3 “I thank God, whom I serve with a pure conscience, as my forefathers did, as without ceasing I remember you in my prayers night and day,” The pure conscience that he was talking about means “Clean and Clear.” Paul was a leader who genuinely lived what he believed. His Forefathers lived it, his mother and grandmother lived it, he was challenging the younger Timothy to also live it. Here’s the good news; it is entirely possible for us to live it today. We to can maintain genuine and pure faith in the Lord.
