Incumbent Archer County Pct. 2 Commissioner Darin Wolf won his runoff Republican Primary Election on Tuesday, May 24, according to unofficial results.

The Holliday Police Department and Archer County Sheriff’s Office arrested Stephen Joseph Parsons, 34, for the murder of Gary Kuykendall on Thursday, May 26. According to the arrest affidavit, the Holliday Police Department was dispatched to the 100 block of S.

The coronavirus pandemic dealt a near death blow to the Royal Theater. Having the theater dark for close to two years has created a financial strain since utility bills and maintenance of the building still continues. The remainder of 2022 will hopefully bring some of the Royal’s shine back to the community.
