Midwestern State University recognized 958 honor students for the Spring 2023 semester. The President's Honor Roll included 398 students, the Provost's Honor Roll included 259 students and the Dean's Honor Roll included 301 students.

Belcher, Strohman take gold

Lakeside City Council listens to request from Brazos Communications

The Lakeside City Council heard a presentation from Brazos Communications on providing high-speed fiber internet to the residents of Lakeside City during its meeting on Tuesday, May 16. Brazos Communications General Manager Lonnie Rue said the cooperative currently serves Archer City, Olney and Graham.

Steinberger leaves WISD board after 15 years

New school board members were sworn, a new board president was named and the outgoing board president was recognized during the Windthorst ISD school board meeting on Monday, May 15. Outgoing board president Chad Steinberger was recognized and presented with a plaque at the start of the meeting for his 15 years of service to the Windthorst ISD School Board.
