The Archer County Commissioner’s Court will seek a Texas Attorney General’s opinion on the legalities of the Archer County Sheriff’s Jail Commissary fund before approving the sale of Sheriff’s Office vehicle to the commissary fund to be used a jail transport vehicle.

A new laundromat in Archer City will provide residents with an opportunity to prevent a drive to Wichita Falls for laundry, an opportunity for oil field workers to get their dirty clothes clean without dirtying their own machines or an opportunity to get that large pile of laundry building up all done at once.

The Archer County Commissioner’s Court voted to have a workshop about how to spend the remaining American Rescue Plan Act funds on Tuesday, Jan. 3, after a discussion in its meeting Tuesday, Dec. 27.
