One arrested for sexual assualt of a child

An Archer County man was arrested for aggravated sexual assault of a child, a first-degree felony, and indecency of a child, a second-degree felony, on Friday, June 10. According to an Archer County Arrest Warrant during a forensics interview conducted at Patsy’s House Child Advocacy Center in Wichita Falls, Bobby Crawford McNair, 31, was accused by a 10-year-old and a six-year-old of inappropriately touching them.

Royal Theater announces rest of 2021 season

The Royal Theater in Archer City recently announced the rest of its 2021 season, and it will feature a handful of familiar singers and entertainment shows through the end of the year. “We went all last year with really just one Texasville Opry, and then things shut down due to COVID-19,” board member Jerry Phillips said.
