4-H hosts First Responders Cookout

Body On Monday, July 19, the 4-H Clubs from Archer City, Holliday and Windthorst hosted a cookout for Archer County first responders at the Archer City Activity’s Building. The 4-H members fed over 50 first responders.

County approves special taxing disater option

Body The Archer County Commissioner’s Court approved a special taxing unit disaster option during its meeting Monday, July 12, which allow the county to move the rollback property tax rate from 3.5% above the effective rate to 8% above the effective property tax rate.
