Archer County towns see rise in sales tax rebates

The cities of Archer City, Holliday, Lakeside City, Megargel, Scotland and Windthorst saw an increase in sales tax rebates in September than they did in the same time frame in 2023. Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose districts $1.1 billion in local sales tax allocations for September, 6.3 percent more than in September 2023.

AC Elementary named Blue Ribbon School
