The Windthorst ISD school board approved the staff compensation plan during its board meeting on Monday, May 6. Superintendent Jason Nolan had presented the plan for review during the previous school board meeting.

Both the Holliday and Windthorst track teams had athletes represent their programs at the state track and field meet at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on Thursday, May 2 and Friday, May 3.

Former Archer City High School principal Dr. John Sherrill has announced his departure from Archer City ISD.

The Holliday UIL academic team had a strong showing at the UIL Region I-3A competition on April 26-27 at Abilene Christian. The Eagles finished with 151 points, tying Jim Ned for second overall at the regional competition.
