The Sheriff’s Office received 204 calls for service this past week. As this report is being written there are 35 inmates 7 being female in the Archer County Jail.

Not being an exact science we must have a leap year every four years so that our one year revolution around the sun can get caught up since that revolution does not work exactly with our 24 hour days. And so it begins… A month is based on moon cycles yet the different months have different amounts of days. Some 30, some 31, then poor February has only 28.

We gave it our all but came up short in the election for Archer County Attorney. Tuesday night, the Archer County Elections Administration informed me that I did not secure enough votes to win the election for Archer County Attorney. The Archer County elections officials have my complete confidence in the handling of the election.
