DST, daylight savings time. Time to cast off the winter doldrums and get out of bed an hour earlier if you have appointments and work to do in the time driven schedules of human beings. We really don’t save any time. The sun will rise just as it did yesterday within a minute or so of the day before. However we will have an extra hour after work to get things done. Good news for gardeners and folks that work the land while holding down a daytime job. I’m going to replant some cool season veg today then hope my employees show up on time tomorrow.

Now you can use your library card to check out a mobile hotspot device - just like a book. These pocket-sized devices are easy to use and can connect up to 8 devices, such as your smart phone, laptop, and tablet, to cellular Internet. Use the device to surf the Internet, help your children do their homework, connect to health and banking services, and much, much more! The device and service are already paid for, you just need to come in to the library to check it out!

Our main vision for the Archer County Museum & Arts Center is to showcase the difference Archer County has had in history and in personal lives as well as to inspire creative minds! To do this we will have a separate building that will safely store artifacts and have a space to hold exhibits and artist workshops. The museum will have a limited amount of permanent exhibition space and an exhibit space that will hold rotating and traveling exhibits.
