Body The Archer Public Library concluded its Summer Reading Program this week. The library had 18 participants in the reading contest who logged 257 hours of reading! The library hosted four Summer Reading performances which had 198 attendees.

Body The Sheriff’s Office received 118 calls for service this past week. As this report is being written there are 27 inmates and 3 being female in the Archer County Jail.

Body The Archer County Sheriff’s Office responded to 125 calls for service this week and they started early Monday morning with the first arrest being for DWI 38 minutes into the new week. It doesn’t take long around here some nights.
