That is, until Joe Pickett makes two surprising discoveries while hunting down a wounded elk on his district as an epic spring storm descends upon him. First, he finds the professor’s vehicle parked on a remote mountainside. Then Joe finds the professor’s frozen and mutilated body. When he attempts to learn more, his investigation is obstructed by federal agents, extremists, and Governor Colter Allen.

The State of Texas has seen its share of historic natural disasters in the past few years, from hurricanes to wildfires to freezes. In any situation, the best thing you can do for yourself and your family is to be prepared. While each type of disaster can present unique challenges, the loss of electricity is detrimental to the safety of food storage and preparation.

The Archer County Museum and Arts Center (ACMAC) will be holding town halls to gather the community’s input on its vision for the new museum. The museum was purchased from the county and turned into a nonprofit in 2020.
