The Sheriff’s Office received 268 calls for service this past two weeks. As this report is being written there are 27 inmates and five being female in the Archer County Jail.

Eggs are not the terrible source of high cholesterol as once believed. Not if those eggs come from free range chickens as opposed to factory raised. Same goes for beef, pork, goats, and lamb. Seafood? Historically the healthiest people on Earth were those who lived close to the water. Surf and turf… Oh yes! In fact, go back to the 19th Century and water courses were what travelers used as roadways. Even those who traveled on dry land would use rivers to guide them. Fish were always handy.
