Holliday (9-5) concluded its 2024 tournament season with a 3-2 mark at the Muenster tournament this past weekend. The Eagles earned splits on the first two days of tournament play before ending the tournament season on a high note with a dominant win.

Holliday’s Noah Strohman is the fastest person in the country. The Eagles’ sophomore posted a mile time of 4:06.18 at the Texas Distance Festival on Fri., March 15, edging Southlake Carrol sophomore Caden Leonard (4:06.30) by 0.12 seconds to record the fastest time of the season in the nation according to Milesplit.

Wed., March 13 Chico 7 Archer City 6 A walk-off single by Chico completed their late-game comeback over the Wildcats on Wednesday, March 12. The teams were tied 1-1 after two innings, but Archer City successfully held the Dragons to just two runs over the next three innings.

Tigerettes clip Lady Eagles Jacksboro hammered out 18 hits and scored nine runs over the final three innings to hand Holliday its first loss in District 7-3A action in a 15-2 decision. The Tigerettes hung crooked numbers in the second, third and fourth innings to take a 7-0 lead after five.
