Strohman records fastest mile in nation

Holliday’s Noah Strohman is the fastest person in the country. The Eagles’ sophomore posted a mile time of 4:06.18 at the Texas Distance Festival on Fri., March 15, edging Southlake Carrol sophomore Caden Leonard (4:06.30) by 0.12 seconds to record the fastest time of the season in the nation according to Milesplit.

Eagles wrap up tourney season

Holliday (9-5) concluded its 2024 tournament season with a 3-2 mark at the Muenster tournament this past weekend. The Eagles earned splits on the first two days of tournament play before ending the tournament season on a high note with a dominant win.

Distr ict 7-3A honors announced

Keitenn Bristow just put together one of the greatest individual seasons of basketball Archer County has ever seen. Not only did he lead Holliday to a 34-3 record and first appearance in the state tournament in 81 years, he also took home District 7-3A MVP honors after a monster final season for the Eagles.

Trojanettes throttle Petrolia

The Windthorst Trojanettes (2-0) travelled to the home of the Petrolia Lady Pirates (0-1) for district softball action on Wednesday, March 13. The Trojanettes were coming off a pair of tournament victories over higher classified opponents, while the Lady Pirates were aiming to shake off their first loss of district just two days prior.
