Archer City Head Start to hold Pre-K graduation Thursday

Archer City Head Start will be celebrating the graduation of 10 of their Pre-K students, at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 18. The Pre-K students are already a part of Archer City ISD and they will be moving across the street and attending Archer City Elementary School when the new academic school year begins in August.

Larson Vieth and Emma Herring both of Windthors received the Catholic Life Insurance All American Scholar Award. Vieth who is the son of Deana and James Veith, Jr., is a senior at Windthorst High School.
WT Department of Communication Recognizes Outstanding Students

The West Texas A&M University Department of Communication celebrated 22 outstanding students during the department’s end-of-year ceremony. Faculty and students shared stories about students’ work and achievements during the April 25 ceremony, held in the Legends Room inside the Jack B.
