For the second straight year, the Windthorst Trojanettes are champions of District 9-2A on the track circuit. Windthorst posted a team score of 196, topping second place Archer City by 80 points.

Friday, April 8 Holliday 4, Breckenridge 0 Holliday (22-2) moved within a game of clinching the District 7-3A title following a 4-0 blanking of Breckenridge. With another shutout, the Lady Eagles have yet to allow a run in district play.

Archer City’s Jill Liles and Chandler Clark won the girls doubles draw at the Region II-2A championship on Tuesday, April 12, to advance to the state tennis tournament. The pair is slated to compete again on April 26-27 in San Antonio.
