Drew Springer made several whirlwind campaign stops in Archer and Young counties last Saturday, Aug. 29.

The city of Scotland will be sponsoring a Town Clean-up Weekend on Friday, Sept. 18, and Saturday, Sept.

Four Archer County nonprofit organizations are participating in the 24-county area fundraising program Texoma Gives, which kicks off at 6 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, with donations able to be given before the event.

The Sheriff’s Office received 110 Calls for Service during the past seven day period ending Sunday, Aug. 30. On the day of this report there were 30 individuals incarcerated in the Archer County Jail consisting of 27 men and three women.

The Archer City High School Seniors participated in annual painting under the Archer City stoplight on Sunday, Aug. 30.
