The Archer County Museum and Arts Center put up a fence exhibition around its property on Thursday, April 21, while the three-story 1910 jail remains closed to the public. This exhibit shares the stories of a world saddle bronc champion, hotel owner, rare sheep breed er, a tree to mark water and more, all from Archer County.

Early voting is underway for the May 7 Uniform Election that will decide new members of three county towns and all three county school districts. Early voting will be from 8 a.m.

Archer County has had many people with vast achievements call one of its communities home including a two time world champion steer wrestler.
