Windthorst man dies in truck accident

My wife, Jessica, works for Region 9 in Head Start. We have 2 boys James and Rylan. James graduated from Holliday this last school year and is currently at Midwestern State University, while Rylan is a freshman at Holliday.

Local author Jim Black (Class of 1971) has gathered together some of those memories in his latest book titled Through These Halls.

Hello Archer County, my name is Cory Glassburn and I currently serve as Mayor of Lakeside City, Texas. I’ve had the honor to serve my community and Archer County in this role for 10 years. Whenever someone asks why I want to be the Archer County Judge, it takes me back to why I chose to serve as Mayor. Simply put, it’s because I want to make a difference in the same community where I live, where I have my family, my friends, pay taxes, support the local schools, and volunteer when someone in our county needs assistance.
