Archer County Elections Administrator Christie Mooney reported 3,637 or 55% of registered voters participated in early voting which she said was the highest percentage ever for the county. The elections administrator had reported 2,820 or 43% of registered voters had participated in early voting through Monday, Oct.

Archer County Judge Randy Jackson said on Monday, Nov. 2, that the county will remain unexempt from GA-29 including a facial covering mandate which was issued by Governor Greg Abbott.
