Archer City ISD discusses contraband concerns

Archer City ISD administration sent an email out to parents on Friday, March 31, to inform them of potential contraband concerns at the high school. High School Principal John Sherrill said students were recently exposed to contraband against the student code of conduct.

Hello everyone my name is Katy Wolf and I am the current president of the Windthorst FFA chapter. I enjoy all aspects of the agriculture industry. I will be continuing my education next year at Tarleton State University to become an Ag teacher. I have shown tractors my junior and senior years of high school and have been blessed to receive many awards doing so such as,3 grand champion titles, 1 reserve championship title, one best in show title, and multiple blue ribbons. I am beyond blessed to have had all of these experiences through the FFA and I can’t wait to inspire and help students of my own reach their full potential.

Lakeside City discusses septic inspections

The Lakeside City council received an update from LoneStar Wastewater on the city's septic inspection project and plans for the future of the project during its council meeting on Tuesday, March 28. The council awarded a bid to have the town's 432 houses septic tanks inspected during September of 2020.
