Darlene Gayle Hayter, age 81 of Megargel, passed away Friday, April 22, at United Regional Healthcare in Wichita Falls. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, in the chapel of Lunn Funeral Home in Olney with Rev. Lewis Holland, officiating. Interment followed at Megargel Cemetery in Megargel. Arrangements were under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.

Harold Berend, age 91, passed away on Sunday, April 17, at St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita, Kan. Harold was born on July 2, 1930, in Archer City, to Anton and Eleanor Wachsman Berend. Harold was a farmer, rancher, and postmaster throughout his life. He had been a resident of Marienthal since 1954 having moved from Windthorst. He was a member of St. Mary Church of Marienthal where he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a 4-H leader for 13 years. He was the girls' softball coach for the Knights of Columbus summer league and a Wichita County Amusement Association Volunteer.

Linda Joyce Rakestraw, 77, most recently of Gainesville, longtime resident of Wichita Falls and Archer City, passed away April 11, in Gainesville. Linda was born Nov.

Florence Evon Koetter passed from this earth on Tuesday, April 9, at the age of 86 in Norman, Okla. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.

Tyler Ray Hamacher was born Oct. 27, 1982 and passed away March 8, 2022.

Gean Campbell, age 96, of Archer City, passed away Tuesday morning, March 22, in Wichita Falls. Services will be at 10 a.m.

Virginia Martin Dwyer, age 81, of Archer City, was the thread that weaved our lives together, and she kept us in stiches all the while. Virginia was welcomed home on Feb.

Christopher Mack “Chris” Wallace, Sr., age 43, of Archer City, gained his heavenly wings on Saturday morning, March 12. Chris was born on July 28, 1978 in Nocona to the late Arley Elton Wallace and Judy Margaret Mc-New Wallace.

Paul was born Aug. 15, 1937, in Mountain View, Okla.

Rita Joann “ Rita Jo” Williams Allen, age 84, of Archer City, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, March 5, 2022, at her residence. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
