Jose Luis Cabrera, also known as Al, passed away Saturday, May 29, peacefully in his sleep where he was found deceased by his wife in their home in Jacksboro. He was born on July 12, 1966, in Fort Worth, to his father, Arturo Cabrera, who’s been deceased since he was 6 years old, and his mother who is still with us today, Armandina Patino.
Marshell Lee Peden, age 80, of Archer City, passed away Saturday, June 5, in Wichita Falls. A private celebration of Marshell’s life will be held at a later date.

Harrell Braddock, Jr., pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Olney officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.
Mary Andrijeski Russell, age 56, passed away April 9, 2021 in her home. She was surrounded by her family as she succumbed to her 5-year valiant battle with cancer.
Bruce Ikard Whittenton, 93, of Wichita Falls and formerly of Windthorst, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. The family received friends at a visitation from 2 until 2:30 p.m.
Luren Campbell, age 93, died April 6, in Olney. Visitation was from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 8, at Lunn Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 9, in the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with Bobby Dean, pastor of the First Christian Church of Archer City, officiating, assisted by Joe Cullen. Interment followed in Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home of Olney.
Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother, Virginia Kouri Horany died peacefully on March 16, at the age of 95. Virginia is survived by her children, Katrina Hourani of Austin, Jim Horany, and wife Debbie of Lakeside City, Dan Horany of Irving, and Diane Horany Arnold, and husband Ron of Smithville.
