Holliday’s Bree Zellers inks with Cisco College

Body

Bree Zellers is a model of perseverance. The Holliday senior overcame an ACL tear in her sophomore year before being sidelined with a torn meniscus her junior season.

Despite the injuries, Zellers lifted the Lady Eagles to new heights in 2020. Holliday made its deepest postseason run since 2012, advancing to the Class 3A Region I Regional Finals before bowing out to eventual state champion Bushland. The Lady Eagles closed the season with a 24-5 record and a district title, largely in part to Zellers’ 261 kills, 42 aces, 25 blocks and 527 digs.
