In a rematch of the Battle of the Felines, the Archer City Wildcats dropped a close road battle with the Electra Tigers on Friday, Jan. 24.

The Archer City Lady Cats completed their series sweep over the Electra Lady Tigers on Friday, Jan. 24, relying heavily on stellar defense and efficient rebounding after coming off a bye.

A late, fourth quarter surge by the Nocona Indians gave them the 12-point win over the Archer City Wildcats on Tuesday, Jan. 14. Up until the final quarter, the two clobbered each other on the defensive side of the court, with the Indians holding just an 1815 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

The senior/sophomore guard duo of Megg Lindley and Jaylee Belcher combined for nearly 40 points in the Trojanettes road win over the Archer City Lady Cats on Tuesday, Jan. 7. They both accounted for 19 points each in the victory.

The Lady Eagles and Eagles travelled to Iowa Park on Tuesday, Jan 7 in district basketball action against the Lady Hawks and Hawks. Holliday 51 Iowa Park 44 The Lady Eagles scored double digits in each of the four quarters against the Lady Hawks and held them to below 10 points twice in that same span.
