Lady Eagles go the distance against Memorial

Body The Lady Eagles faced off in a five-set slugfest against the Wichita Falls Memorial Lady Mavericks on Friday, Sept. 6 After dropping the first set 16-25, Holliday soared back with a 25-20 victory. The Lady Mavericks marked another set win with a 19-25 victory.

Lady Hornets sting Archer City

Body The Lady Cats took on the Class 1A #3 ranked Harrold Lady Hornets on Tuesday, Sept. 3. These two teams faced off once this season, in the Cool in Boomtown volleyball tournament in Burkburnett on Friday, Aug. 16, with the Lady Hornets sweeping Archer City 2-0 in the tournament.

Wildcats win road war with Indians

Body The Archer City Wildcat bussed west for the team’s season-opener on the gridiron, facing off against the Quanah Indians on Friday, Aug. 30. Last season, the Wildcats battered the Indians 44-8, and looked to once against kickoff the season with a dominant win.
