Canada pitches third shutout in district

In an away game against the Olney Lady Cubs on March 29, Good Friday, freshman pitcher Addi Canada notched her third shutout victory in district, dominating Olney on the mound in a 14-0 route. The Lady Cats were 4-0 in district heading into the contest and looked to sweep the series after their last matchup versus the Lady Cubs ended in an 11-0 shutout win.

Wildcats fall to Pirates in double-header

The Archer City Wildcats dropped both games against the visiting Petrolia Pirates on Tuesday, March 26. Despite a close matchup in the first game, the second game didn’t fare as well for Archer City, as the Pirates exploded in the fourth inning with 11 runs, eventually securing the series sweep.
