The Archer City Lady Cats travelled to Nocona to take on 2A sixth-ranked Lady Indians on Friday, Jan. 26. The fifth place Lady Cats looked to keep playoff hopes alive as they sat just one game behind the fourth place Petrolia Lady Pirates. The get-right game would not come on Friday, however, as the top ranked Lady Indians defeated Archer City 89-21.

The two rival teams did not disappoint, with a gripping contest that saw the Trojans narrowly survive the Wildcats 59-52.

The Archer City Lady Cats hosted the Seymour Lady Panthers for their fourth district game of the season on Tuesday, Jan. 16. Despite pacing the Lady Panthers in the first half, the Lady Cats struggled to find success on offense in the second half, losing 69-30 and falling to 1-3 in district.
