Despite a fivepoint lead by Petrolia at halftime, Windthorst awakened in the second half, overcoming the Pirates’ lead, and ending the game with a 52-35 victory.

The Windthorst Trojanettes welcomed the Petrolia Lady Pirates in district action on Tuesday, Jan 30. The 7-1 Trojanettes looked to strengthen their grasp on second place in district with a win over a Lady Pirates team that was fighting to keep their fourth-place spot. Petrolia kept the game close in the first quarter, but it was all Windthorst for the rest of the game, with the Trojanettes winning comfortably 77-21.
