Windthorst senior Karissa Fillingim has been a constant presence for the Trojanette sports program since her freshman year. A multi-sport athlete, Fillingim has been around for some the schools’ best sports moments.

Former Windthorst Trojanette Kelsey Williams will lead a team of young, but experienced ball-players for her first season as head coach. She absorbs a team that is fresh off a trip to the Area-round and returns over five starters, as well as others that saw ample time on the field.

After building one of the most decorated careers in recent Archer City athletics history, senior Addy Peters is getting one last chance to add to it. From deep playoff runs in basketball and softball to a long list of district and state accolades, the Lady Cats standout enters her final season determined to help Archer City make another push when it matters most.

For Holliday Eagle senior Caleb White, faith and baseball have been two very important aspects of his life. Before and after every outing, White can be seeing praying, and is quick to mention his gratitude for Jesus Christ.

The Holliday Eagles’ baseball team is coming off their most successful season in 10 years after reaching the 3A-D1 Regional Finals, but after graduating seven seniors, including ace pitcher Michael Stewart, head coach Jason Kress will look to his returners to try and replicate their performance from last year.

Holliday senior Kenli Atwood is looking to cap off her prolific high school running career with another trip to the state meet, which would mark her fourth straight in track and give her eight total trips to the state meet between track and cross-country.

Just like he was in cross-country this year, Windthorst star runner Kolton Rodgers will be a focal point in the Trojan’s success in track this year. The senior, who helped bring a state championship in cross-country this year, is ready to close the book on his tie at Windthorst with another spectacular season.

Holliday athletes Jordan and Arden Peters have gotten to do something in the sports world that siblings dream of, playing high school sports together. “We love playing sports with each other,” Jordan said.
