Davis to Depart from Archer County News

Body

When I graduated from Tarleton State University, I did not expect my first “real” job to be as a reporter for a newspaper. I had taken several writing courses related to the newspaper and media industry, but I was still extremely nervous about taking such an important position without any real-world experience, outside of a few college courses.

I’ll never forget my first game I covered. It was Nov. 28, 2023 when the Archer City Wildcats and Lady Cats travelled to Midway in one of the first few games of that basketball season.

Landon Davis is set to Depart from the Archer County News by summer's end.
