“We have a lot of oil trucks running through our county,” says Wade Scarbrough (Commissioner, Precinct 1), “and many of these now heavily trafficked roads were only intended for tractors and light agricultural traffic. Now with not only the oil trucks, but also an increasing population and new developments, we’ve been looking for something better.”

ACISD Cheerleading Annual Two Man Scramble

The ACISD Cheerleading Annual Two Man Scramble was held at the Archer City Country Club on Friday, June 10. Seventeen teams participated, 46 holesponsors, 10 high school cheerleaders and eight junior high cheerleaders. Money from the event helps pay for camp, uniforms, camp wear, shoes and supplies for pep rallies and games. TOP: Jon Cowan and Frank Murray placed first at the two man scramble.
