Come, Lord Jesus!

Body
A Joy filled Christmas to all. The day has arrived when we celebrate that our Savior was born in Bethlehem, Judea during the reign of Augustus Caesar. He came to rescue us from sin, death and all evil, and to fulfill all Old Testament prophesy. We ourselves are born to live but He came to suffer and die, “for us and for our salvation.” We Christians believe He came to pay the ransom for our sins and to open for us the Gates of Paradise that we might enter in and have eternal life. He, the Eternal Word came to give us life eternal. This, His very own life He gives as spiritual food to nourish and transform us. given through both His written Word (Sacred Scripture/ Bible) and Sacrament, the latter for Orthodox and Catholic Christians is believed by faith to be - His actual Risen glorified human body, and Divinity - unto resurrection of our bodies from the dead.
