2025 Olney Invitational Wednesday, Sept. 24 Archer City cross country competed the Olney Invitational at the Olney Country Club on Wednesday.

It was a highly-anticipated rematch on Friday, Sept 26, as the Holliday Eagles hosted the Jim Ned Indians on Homecoming to finish out their pre-district schedule. Coming into the game, the Indians gave up just 20 points a game, while Holliday averaged 52 points per game.

Archer City notched their first district win following their loss to the Lady Indians, sweeping the Lady Cubs at home. The two sat tied at 11-11 before Olney pulled away with an 8-2 run to go ahead 20-13.
