Spirit of Community

Body
On Sunday, November 19, 2023, the Holliday Community Thanskgiving Worship Servce and Fellowship resumed at the First Methodist Church of Holliday. To my knowledge, we had representatives from Holliday First Assembly of God, First Baptish Church, Holliday, Compassion Church of Holliday, and of course my Church family (75 in attendance). The Worship had wonderful music provided by Patti Moore our pianist/organist, as well as a special by our Church choir. Brothers Gil Peters, Darrel Sewell and Nathan Roach (First Baptist) participated in leading the service, we celerated Holly Communion, and Katie Mitchell gave a brief presentation for the Harvest Food Ministry. An offering was taken for Harvest Food Ministry. Due to COVID-19, this is the first time since 2019 that we have shared this event. Of course, the food and fellowship that followed was wonderful.
